This gourd DIY craft kit makes two birdhouses. Each birdhouse is approximately 6" in diameter and comes with an attached wire hanger. These hard shell gourds come with their exterior cleaned so that they are ready to be painted, stained, wood burned, or crafted in any way that you see fit. To finish your birdhouse to put it outside you will want to use some kind of outdoor polyurethane to help protect your paint or dye from the weather. These birdhouses will vary in shapes.

This kit does not include paints, dyes or outdoor polyurethane.

Because this design is crafted using a natural gourd, each piece is ever so slightly different to make for a unique artisan piece with natural variance in color and size.

Warning: Gourds are flammable. Do not use candles in them or place near open flames.
